Wisdom key: “The Answer Lies Within You”

Wealth creation series:

“The Answer Lies Within You”

2 Kings 4:2–7

Breakthrough is rarely distant. Most times, the seed of your next level is already in your hands ,small, ordinary, overlooked, yet carrying the breath of God within it.

When Elisha asked the widow, “What do you have in your house?” she almost dismissed it.

“Nothing… except a little oil.”

But that “little” was not little in God’s economy. It was the divine tool for her freedom, the bridge between captivity and abundance.

The same pattern repeats throughout Scripture:

– A small jar of oil rescued a family from poverty.

– A simple rod became the instrument that parted the Red Sea.

– Five loaves and two fish fed thousands.

– A shepherd’s sling brought down a national enemy.

– A woman’s alabaster jar opened a portal of honor and remembrance.

God never asks you to start with what you do not have.

He asks you to recognize what you already possess.

The Hidden Principle

Breakthrough begins the moment you stop looking outward and start looking inward.

The widow didn’t need a new opportunity she needed a new perception. She needed prophetic insight to see value in what she had overlooked.

Many people keep praying for open doors while the keys are already on their table.

They cry for financial increase while ignoring the skill, gift, relationship, or idea God placed within them.

They envy others’ blessings while despising their own “little oil.”

What Is in Your House?

This is not a question of physical space — it is a question of identity, capacity, and divine investment.

What do you carry that you’ve underestimated?

– A gift others admire but you treat as common

– A skill that comes effortlessly to you

– A relationship that can unlock a new path – A creative idea that keeps returning to your heart

– A small business that can multiply with structure

– A passion that burns consistently within you

Often, the miracle is not in acquiring something new but in using something familiar differently.

The Moment You Engage It, Multiplication Begins

The oil did not multiply in the widow’s cupboard, it multiplied when she started pouring.

The Red Sea did not part while Moses cried, it parted when he stretched the rod.

The bread did not multiply in the disciples’ hands , it multiplied when Jesus blessed and broke it.

Miracles ride on obedience, not convenience.

You do not need to wait for perfect conditions.

You only need to activate what you already have.

The Thought-Provoking Question

If God were to ask you today, “What do you have in your house?” how would you answer?

Would you say:

“Nothing… except…..”

That “except” might be the very seed of your next dimension.

Stop searching endlessly for what God has already placed within you.

Your solution is not far-fetched.

Your oil is in your house.

Your rod is in your hand.

Your miracle is in your obedience.

Final Charging Thought

Look again.

Evaluate again.

Honor what God has given you.

Work what is already yours.

Because the next chapter of your wealth, impact, and breakthrough is not waiting in another person’s possession —

it is waiting in your own hands.

Rediscovering the Circle: Rediscovering the identity of women in a world of subjugation.

Across generations, one pattern has stubbornly persisted—the subjugation of women. Though its forms evolve, its roots often remain the same: silencing voices, undervaluing worth, and defining women through the lens of limitation. It appears subtle in boardrooms where women’s ideas are echoed by others, and blatant in homes where their dreams are dismissed as unnecessary. Even in faith communities that celebrate progress, many still live under invisible ceilings built from centuries of conditioning.

Yet beneath the silence lies a divine spark—the awareness that woman was never an afterthought in creation but a reflection of God’s completeness. The Proverbs 31 woman embodies this truth: strong yet graceful, wise yet humble, industrious yet compassionate. She is a woman of great worth—a covering for her world.

When a woman awakens to this revelation, she rises not in rebellion but in restoration. She recognizes that her identity is not bestowed by culture or circumstance but by the Creator Himself.

1. Reclaiming Identity

Every woman must begin by rediscovering her original design. She was created in strength, wisdom, and beauty. Education, mentorship, and spiritual renewal become her tools of liberation. Knowing who you are precedes knowing what you can become. Her worth is not negotiable—it is divine.

2. Restoring Voice

Communities must create spaces where women can speak without fear of ridicule or repression. The Proverbs 31 woman “opens her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness.” Her words are life-giving. When women’s voices are restored, families find direction and nations find healing.

3. Redefining Fulfillment

True fulfillment is not found in imitation but in divine purpose. Every woman carries a unique seed—whether in nurturing homes, leading enterprises, teaching generations, or shaping policies. When she walks in purpose, she becomes light to her world and restorer of hope.

4. Rebuilding Systems

Lasting change requires structures that honor women’s God-given worth. Empowerment must move beyond slogans into systems—education, leadership, ministry, and governance—that lift women from the shadows into shared dominion.

A Call to Reflection

The subjugation of women is not merely a gender crisis—it is a distortion of creation’s balance.

When a woman rises, she restores harmony.

Let every woman rediscover her name, her strength, her grace.

Let her live again as a woman of great worth—God’s covering for her world.
