NEVER TOO LATE WITH GOD

NEVER TOO LATE WITH GOD

When God steps into a story, endings become beginnings.

The widow of Zarephath was at the final chapter of her life story.

Her resources were finished.

Her strength was drained.

Her hope was fading.

Her son was hungry.

She was gathering sticks for what she believed would be their last meal.

She wasn’t preparing a feast.

She wasn’t planning a breakthrough.

She was preparing to die.

Yet — God sent Elijah at the exact moment when the jar was almost empty and the future looked impossible.

Why?

Because with God, it is never too late.

5 Powerful Lessons From the Widow of Zarephath

1. God Arrives at the Edge of Despair

When life feels like it’s down to the “last handful of flour,” He sends a divine interruption.

2. What You Have Is Enough for God

Her miracle began not with abundance, but with the little left.

God never asks for what you don’t have.

3. Obedience Unlocks Overflow

“Do as you have said, but make mine first…” (1 Kings 17:13).

Her obedience turned her last meal into endless provision.

4. God Sustains Through Every Season

“The jar of flour was not used up…”

Your resources cannot die when God breathes on them.

5. Hope Is Never Lost With God

Even when her son later died, God still stepped in — and revived him.

The God who sustains is the God who restores.

Wealth Creation Series: Growth Is a Process

( Lessons from the Chinese Bamboo).

Growth is a process. It demands courage, perseverance, and faith.

Recently, I read a piece from my mentor about the Chinese bamboo. I had heard the story over five years ago, but I never paused to study it deeply; until now. Her words stirred something in me, provoking a desire to understand this extraordinary plant and uncover what God might be saying through it.

In my search, I discovered something profound:

-Stop complaining because you can’t see progress. Just because your growth is not visible does not mean nothing is happening. With the bamboo, the depth is forming long before the height appears. The real work is deeply embedded in the unseen.

Here are 6 powerful lessons from the Chinese Bamboo:

1. Growth Begins in the Dark, Not in the Open: For years, nothing breaks the surface. Yet beneath the soil, the roots are spreading wide and deep.

Lesson: God develops your foundation before He displays your elevation.

2. Silence Is Not Absence: The fact that nothing is visible does not mean nothing is happening.

Lesson: Your silent season is a working season. Heaven is building what eyes cannot yet see.

3. Depth Determines Height: The bamboo spends 4–5 years building a root system strong enough to support 80–90 feet of sudden growth.

Lesson: The deeper your preparation, the higher your destiny.

4. Consistency Is the Water That Feeds Destiny: Farmers water the bamboo daily even when they see no progress for years.

Lesson: Keep praying. Keep working. Keep believing. Consistency breaks delay.

5. Acceleration Follows Preparation: In the fifth year, the bamboo shoots upward at lightning speed.

Lesson: When your season comes, what took years to prepare will grow in weeks.

6. Your Growth Is Not Measured by Others’ Timelines: Other plants sprout quickly and wither early. Bamboo grows slowly and lasts for generations.

Lesson: Do not compare your journey. Your pace is different because your assignment is different.

Reference:

“For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves.

But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.”

2 Corinthians 10:12 .

Cf keep looking at the perfect law of liberty and continue there in.
